She graduated with an International Affairs Degree from the University of Nevada\, Reno and then went on to get her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. Her specialties and areas of interest include trauma\, mulitcultural issues\, integration of psychology and theology\, and relational difficulties. She approaches therapy from an interpersonal stance\, integrating aspects of dialectical behavior therapy\, attachment therapy\, and emotionally focused therapy\, and has worked with adults of all ages\, children\, adolescents\, and couples. She is STAIR\, CC-DBT\, CCTP\, and SIVRA certified and EFT and CBT-I trained. Hilary was raised as a missionary kid in Indonesia\, Malaysia\, and China.
